GEORGE PHINNEY (American, 19th/20th Century) “MARINE SUNSET”. Oil on canvas evening scene shows two figures in a sailboat beside sandy beach with rocks and shrubs at one end. A large ship is seen off point of land with lighthouse. All under a bluish/green to yellow sunset sky. Housed in a fine gilt rope decorated frame. A label with artist name is attached to back.
