RARE PAIR OF ENAMELED SILVER CUPS. 18th century, China. Surface carved with borders of archaic dragons. Body carved with clouds and medallions reading “Treasured by Sons and Grandsons”. Surface further enhanced with gilding and blue and turquoise enamels. Interior of each in gold wash. On fitted rosewood stands. SIZE: 2-1/4″ h x 3-3/4” dia. CONDITION: Overall very good. One cup rim with minor shallow dent. Enamels intact and with vibrant color. 7-72853 (800-1,200)
