WAYNE BEAM MORRELL (American, 1923-) SCENIC PAINTED LAMP SHADE. Oval lamp shade in brass has two sides which are painted with a winter scene and the other with a summer scene. Both are signed “Wayne Morrell”. Winter scene shows a hilly landscape with river and snow covered ground. Two figures are walking with a dog. The summer landscape shows a pond with fisherman and boat, large lawn area with trees and houses. The lamp shade sits atop a floor lamp with two oval wood tiers, the top holding two light bulb fixtures. All supported by three snake feet. The shade fits on a brass top shaft which adjusts up and down. An interesting and unusual piece for a favorite Cape Ann artist. SIZE: Shade is 5” h x 13” w x 9-1/4”. CONDITION: Painting is in very good condition. Shade is slightly bent. 9-72152 (1,750-2,500)
