MAYNARD CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal .50. 20” part oct bbl. Standard markings on both sides of the frame. “AJN” and “JM” cartouches on the left side of the stock. SN 14541. CONDITION: 90% thinning blue on bbl, casehardening colors good except right side of frame which is a streaky brown. Buttplate is a gray brown patina. Wood is fine with minor dents and scratches.
