JOSLYN MODEL 1864 CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal .50. 22” round bbl marked “JOSLYN FIRE ARMS Co. / STONINGTON CONN / 1864” on the lockplate. Matching numbers. SN 14694. CONDITION: 85% blue on bbl. Faint traces of casehardening on the lock and action mostly gray brown patina. Wood has been cleaned and waxed. Action is good. 4-49881 FS36 (1,000-2,000)
