CASED MASS. ARMS HAND TURNED REVOLVER. Cal .28. 2-1/2” oct bbl. Standard “MASS. ARMS CO / CHICOPEE FALLS” on the top strap and “MAYNARD’S PATENT SEP. 22. 1845.” in a circle around the primer door handle. In an original Mass Arms case with flask, bullet mold, key, cleaning rod and bullet seater. The cleaning rod is incorrect. SN 94 on the top strap, 27 on the frame and 927 on the primer mechanism. CONDITION: Smooth gray patina overall with light pitting around the nipple and cylinder. The spring and screw of the powder flask is rusty. Brass tools are lightly dented. The key does not work the lock. The exterior of the case has been sanded and refinished. Mechanically good. 4-49911 FS240 (800-1,200)
