BLAIKIE HINES (American, Late 20th Century) “NEBRASKA TERRITORY, 1862”. Oval oil on masonite scene shows three teepee’s, horses and Native Americans in an encampment beside a river and mesa. The scene is shown under a bright colorful sky with yellow and gray clouds having spots of blue sky. The colorful sky is reflected in the water. The scene performed in a 19th Century style. Housed in a gilt modern frame with oval cutout gilt wood matte. A wood artist plaque is affixed to the front. Signed lower left. SIZE: Sight: 18″ x 22″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-91388 (1,000-1,500)
