PERCY A. SANBORN (American, 1849-1929) PAIR OF LANDSCAPES. Two watercolor landscapes signed “Sanborn” in bottom right. One shows a stream with birch and other trees and rocky bank. The other shows a sunset with several New England homes and figures walking on dirt road. Both are housed in antique frames with modern wide mattes. Sanborn is best known for his ship portraits but worked in Belfast, Maine area where he had a studio. SIGHT SIZE: 9-3/4” x 15-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-27228 (500-1,000)
