SAPPHIRE & DIAMOND BROOCH AND EARRINGS. 14kt (tested) white gold brooch is set with marquis and round cut blue sapphires interspersed with 78 round brilliant cut diamonds and 14 baguette diamonds. According to the jeweler’s appraisal that accompanies the jewelry the total sapphire weight is 11.53ct and the total diamond weight is 3.31ct. The sapphire clarity grades are VS to SI1 and the diamond clarity grades are VS1-SI2 with diamond color grades F-G. The brooch is accompanied by a pair of post back earrings with hinged lever safety back. The earrings are unmarked but test 14kt white gold and are set with blue sapphires and diamonds in a swirling design. Sapphires are pear shaped and round while the diamonds are round brilliant cut and baguette. According to the jeweler’s appraisal accompanying the lot, the 24 round brilliant cut diamonds have a clarity of VS1 to SI2 and a color grade of G-H. The 8 baguette diamonds have a clarity of VS1 to SI1 and color grade F-G, sapphires are VS clarity. Total weight of sapphires is 5.00ct, while the total weight of the diamonds is 1.20ct.
