ASPREY 18KT DIAMOND, EMERALD & RUBY BROOCH. 18kt yellow gold brooch depicts the crest for the Sultan of Oman with two crossed swords beneath a Khanjar with an elaborate horse bit across the top. Brooch is set with 7 round brilliant cut diamonds, 20 diamond baguettes, 1 round emerald, 3 emerald cut emeralds and 24 square cut rubies. According to a jeweler’s appraisal which accompanies the brooch; the 27 diamonds have a total weight of approx. 1.32ct with a clarity grade of VVS2 and an estimated color of E-F. The 24 square cut rubies have a total weight of approx. 1.61ct and are listed as having a slight purple-red hue with a strong tone and saturation. The 3 emeralds have a total weight of approx. 1.62ct, the emeralds have a slight bluish-green hue and strong tone and saturation. Total weight of the brooch is 12.1dwt. Brooch is stamped on the back “A & Co.” and is housed in its original fitted Asprey presentation box. SIZE: 1-3/4″ sq. PROVENANCE: Descended in the Oldman family. Gift of the Sultan of Oman.
