CASED ROBBINS & LAWRENCE PEPPERBOX PISTOL. Cal .32 Perc. Five shot 4-1/2” bbl cluster, with raised ribs, saw handle frame with 2-pc rosewood grips and ring trigger, built under Leonards patent. It has hinged bbls with engraved frame and breech end of bbls. It is accompanied by its original compartmented walnut, blue velvet lined case containing an original Robbins & Lawrence Co. small beveled edged bag flask, single cavity ball mold with screwdriver handles, a bbl and a wrench wiping rod. SN 1324. CONDITION: Very good. Overall retains a fine a smooth chocolate brown patina with minor rust spotting near the muzzel and some deeper pitting on the front strap and butt. Grips are extremely fine retaining most of their original finish. Good mechanics. Case is very fine with a crack in the bottom and minor scratches on the lid. The lining has a faded spot from the gun, otherwise is dark and clean. Mold and flask are fine. 4-49844 JR452 (400-700)
