LARGEST MARKLIN LIMOUSINE. A classic and highly sought after toy manufactured by the renowned Marklin Brothers firm. Recently discovered and fresh to the market from North Carolina this wonderful toy is untouched and in “as found” condition. However, upon close examination, one can see that many, many years ago the toy was “freshened-up” for the next generation of children. Paint has heavy crazing to surface but is intact. Upon close examination, one can see in some places the original gold pin-stripping under the added paint. Sides of the vehicle show signs of aged repainting, perhaps done 50 to 75 years ago. Interior as well as roof and bottom of car retain the original finish. A most deluxe version with 4 lamps (1 lacking), 2 license plates, hand crank, leather seated interior, rubber tires, adjustable steering wheel and luggage rack in rear (missing). SIZE: 17″ l.
