18K GOLD & PEARL BOXED JEWELRY SUITE. Early suite of jewelry; most likely French consists of two bracelets, a brooch and pair of earrings. The bracelets are decorated with an etched grapevine pattern on the sides and an openwork stylized floral pattern set with seed pearls and finished with blue enamel trim. Brooch has matching openwork flower pattern with three gold dangles with blue enamel trim. Drop earrings have matching pattern with dangles matching the brooch. All are housed in the original leatherette box with velvet interior. Bracelets are each marked with hallmarks that we have not been able to identify. One of the hallmarks is what appears to be two heads of Mercury facing left and the other hallmark has a figure that we cannot make out and a “B”. The gold tests 18k. SIZE: Brooch is 3″ l to bottom of dangles. Earrings are 2-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Center dangle on brooch is a very good replacement, otherwise very good to excellent. 7-72487 (6,000-8,000)
