FINE ENAMEL DECORATED CONTINENTAL BIRD MUSIC BOX. The key-wound movement when played the oval-inset cover on the top opens and a bird comes forth singing. At the end of the song it goes back into the box and the cover shuts. The top enameling shows a white peacock, a monkey and chickens with a landscape castle scene. The front and back panels show chickens in landscape. The remainder is covered with colorful enamel decoration. Unmarked. Comes with two keys.
