SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1873 CARBINE. Cal .45-70. 22” round bbl. The “SWP” cartouche is dated 1886. The low arch breech block is dated 1873, and it still retains its ski jump rear sight. SN 188516*. CONDITION: Retains about 90% of the refinish blue, thinning at the breech. Stock has been lightly sanded and refinished. There is a small crack at the rear lockplate screw.
