SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1873 TRAP DOOR RIFLE. Cal .45-70. 32-5/8” round bbl. Partially refinished. The receiver, bbl and rear sight have been reblued. Stock has been sanded and refinished. The other metal parts retain their original finish. SN unreadable due to refinish. CONDITION: Retains most of the blue both original and refinish. Casehardening on the breech block is brilliant. Wood has minor marks. 4-49215 FS24 (550-1,000)
