FOUR-PIECE AMERICAN COIN STERLING SILVER TEA SET BY JONES, LOWS & BALL, AND BIGELOW & KENNARD, BOSTON, MA. Set consists of 13″ high kettle on stand; 9″ teapot, 8″ covered sugar, 6-1/2″ creamer. Each piece having a round foot, bulbous body with a band of scrolling leaves. The scrolled handles having the addition of a decorative thumb hold. Double triple initialed monogram to side. Dated “1839” on base. The kettle on stand was a special 20th century order to match set. WEIGHT: 107 tr. oz. CONDITION: Dents in body of creamer, teapot and kettle on stand.
