OUTSTANDING PAIR OF COIN SILVER SAUCE BOATS WITH UNDER-TRAYS BY THOMAS FLETCHER. Circa 1820. Philadelphia, PA. The oval footed sauce boat applied with squared handle and fashioned with tall pouring lip, the body decorated with a ribbon-tied wreath centering a monogrammed “B” on each side. The matching under-trays impressed with a border of leaf tips which conforms with the border on the bottom of sauce boat. The under-tray with cast leaf tips at the wide end. Each piece marked with an oval stamp “T. Fletcher PHILAD.” WEIGHT: 61 tr. oz. SIZE: 6″ h x 9-1/2″ l. Tray 10″ l x 6″ w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-25534 (15,000-20,000)
