WHITNEY MODEL 1861 PLYMOUTH RIFLE. Cal .69. 33” part oct bbl. Dated 1864 on the lockplate and bbl. SN 7602. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned to bright with vise marks on bbl and denting on the tang. Wood has been repaired with breaks on both sides at the front of the lock and cracks at the rear lockplate screw. There is some plastic wood fill. Stock has been sanded and refinished but “FCW” cartouche is still visible. Lock is fine. 4-49656 FS111 (1,000-2,000)
