HALL MODEL 1842 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal .54 Rifle. 21” round bbl. Marked “U.S / S.NORTH / MIDLtn / CONN. / 1852” on top of the breech block, “STEEL” over the chamber. A faint cartouche is on the right side of the stock to the rear of the action. NSN. CONDITION: Gray brown patina with light pitting mixed with brown on the action. The stock has many dents and gouges. There is a small replaced chip at the rear of the action. All surfaces have been varnished. Action is fine. 4-49733 FS142 (1,250-2,500)
