MILTON CLARK AVERY (American, 1885-1965) “COLOR TREATMENT”. We are not sure if this is an oil or a silkscreen process. Layers of a thick color applied over each other and it is hand signed bottom left “Milton Avery 1961”. On thick fiberboard in bright colors and depicts a large farm with colorful fields blocked off and having large trees with white spot tops that are reminiscent of candelabras. Back has a Karl Mann Associates label with artist and title. Housed in a gilt wood frame with linen liner. SIGHT SIZE: 23-1/4” x 29-1/4”. CONDITION: One small scrape in center, otherwise very good. 9-72950 (3,000-4,000)
