FABULOUS ROOSTER SKITTLE SET. Extremely large brightly multi colored Paper Mache rooster with glass eyes riding on 4 cast iron wheels painted gold. Cradling a 9 pin set in the form of chicks. Chicks are dressed as clowns; they are nestled in the rooster in the original excelsior. Breathtaking set of skittles. The set looks like it has hardly ever been played with if at all. SIZE: 19 1/2″ l x 15 1/2″ h. CONDITION: The rooster’s colors are bright and vibrant shows almost no wear. Typically these delicate works of art exhibit considerable damage, however, this example is simply extraordinary. A couple of minor chips on one side and a slight old crack on the left side. The Peeps are dirty but most are in near excellent condition. One would be hard pressed to find a better example. If you need a skittle this is the one. 1-5226 MC (16,000-20,000)
