NEBO CIGARETTE ADVERTISING CLOCK. Unusual and wonderful wood figural cigarette clock adorned with a chromolithographed image of a deliriously satisfied gent. Reverse features partial paper label from the Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn; includes key and replacement pendulum. Original pendulum probably featured a tongue or cigarette-like extension that protruded through the gent’s cut-out smiling mouth to provide a bit of humorous animation. SIZE: 7 1/2″ w. x 40″ t. CONDITION: Clocks surface retains mildly weathered paint and scuff marks, but still has a great folk art look. 1-6079 PF (5,000-10,000)
