STARR DOUBLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal .44 perc. Usual configuration with 6” round bbl, dovetail blade front sight and 1-pc walnut grip with cartouche on each side and a crude carved M on the bottom of the butt. There are tiny inspector initial on the various parts. SN 15402. CONDITION: Good, all matching. The metal cleaned to a light gray finish. The grips are crisp with fine sharp cartouches on each side. Bright shiny bore with scattered pitting, good mechanics. This was probably a near new revolver when it was cleaned. 4-49673 JR497 (500-1,000)
