PORCELAIN BISCUIT JAR & DELFT SILVER TEA CADDY. Late 19th century. The white porcelain lustre biscuit barrel with shaped feet continuing to aubergine leaf tips fitted with a conforming lid. Tea caddy embossed with fanciful scenes of cherubs driving chariots drawn by insects amidst foliate C-scrolls. Hinged lid mounted with a Delft plaque by Joost, Thooft & Labouchere. Base with illegible hallmark. SIZE: Jar: 7″ h. Caddy: 3-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Biscuit jar very good. Tea caddy with craquelure to lid, otherwise very good. 9-26203 (300-500)
