STEARNS’ ELECTRIC PASTE STORE DISPLAY. Early three-panel folding, cardboard display with outrageous graphics for this company’s line of rat and roach poison. Center panel features illustration of housewife and child waving goodbye from their second floor balcony to the fleeing array of roaches and rats. Stone lithograph by Achert, Cincinnati , Ohio. SIZE: 45” w x 35-1/2” t. CONDITION: Graphics are in very good condition with light surface soiling; cardboard exhibits soft rolls probably from moisture but only a few small water stains apparent. There’s slight paper loss to top edges of main panel. 1-3179 (2000-2500)
