TWO ELM BOWBACK WINDSOR ARMCHAIRS. 19th century, England. Each with squared bowback centering six cylindrical spindles joined to medial rail continuing to shaped arms on baluster turned canted supports centering solid shaped saddle seat raised on swelled turned legs joined by swelled H-form stretcher. SIZE: 39-1/4″ and 40-3/4″ h of backs. 14-3/4″ and 16″ h of seats. CONDITION: Good with old worn surfaces. Mellow color. With old splits and slight warping throughout within normal and expected parameters. 9-25608 (300-500)
