SET OF FOUR QUEEN ANNE STYLE SHEPHERD’S CROOK ARMCHAIRS. Late 19th/early 20th century. The rectangular padded back joined to shaped scrolled arms with shepherd’s crook supports centering an overupholstered trapezoidal seat all bordered with brass tacks raised on molded cabriole legs. SIZE: 38″ h of back x 23-1/2″ w of chair. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Chairs retain original cowhide fabric with appropriate wear and discoloration. One back is ripped. All chairs structurally good. 9-21276 (200-400)
