EASTLAKE VICTORIAN CARVED WALNUT 7-PC PARLOR SUITE. Last quarter 19th century. Consisting of a double seat settee, armchair, platform rocker, and four side chairs. Each with incised carved crestrail with spool turned elements and burled inset panels. All raised on turned cylindrical legs. SIZE: Settee: 44″ h x 55″ w. Side chairs: 36″ h. PROVENANCE: De-accessioned from a New England Institution. CONDITION: Frames retain original surfaces with deep brown patina. Upholstery original with areas of wear. Frames are structurally sound and tight. Very good overall. 9-20526 (200-300)
