NEW ENGLAND MILK SLED. Late 19th century. This fine example with iron runners and oak frame is characteristic of the method used to deliver milk in rural New England in the second half of the 19th century. SIZE: 17-1/2″ h x 46″ l x 28-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Restored and refinished. The center board of platform replaced with old wood. Proper right exterior rail with 5″ loss.
