NEW ENGLAND WRITING ARM ARROWBACK ROCKING CHAIR. Mid 19th century, American. Fine paint decorated and grained example with tablet crest above four floral decorated splats joined to grained saddle seat, proper right arm with shaped writing surface, the whole with yellow and emerald green striping. SIZE: 45-1/2″ h of back. CONDITION: Original painted and decorated surfaces intact and with good color. Writing tablet with old repaired crack. Otherwise very good. 9-25364 (100-200)
