CARVED AND PAINTED SALMON PLAQUE. Late 19th, early 20th century. This nicely carved and decorated example, possibly used as a single sided trade sign, realistically rendered and painted out of pine. Fins carved separately and applied to the body. SIZE: 18″ h x 61″ l overall. CONDITION: Painted surfaces remain intact. Some abrasion above pectoral fin, beneath dorsal fin and on tail fin surfaces. Additionally with small losses to tip of tail. Generally good to very good. 9-25447 (2,000-2,500)
