TWO PAINTED AND DECORATED SIGNS. Late 19th, early 20th century, American. The first, a single sided trade sign advertising “WINES AND LIQUORS” in gold leaf on a black sand paint ground within a red and gold border on pine plank. The second, a single sided hanging sign for “CAMDEN” in gold leaf letters on black paint. SIZE: First: 17-3/4″ h x 21-1/2″ w. Second: 6″ h x 24″ w. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Generally good with normal and expected wear and weathering. 9-26852 (300-500)
