NEW ENGLAND WINDSOR FANBACK SIDE CHAIR. Last quarter 18th century. Nice 9 spindle example with arched and shaped crestrail and boldly turned stiles joined to deep and elongated shaped saddle seat on baluster and ring turned splayed legs joined by swelled H-stretcher. The whole in old black paint. SIZE: 36-1/2″ h of back, 16″ h of seat. CONDITION: Structurally good with old restored shrinkage crack in seat beneath paint. Otherwise good. 9-25412 (400-600)
