MODEL OF THE CLIPPER SHIP “FLYING CLOUD”. First half 20th century. This nicely executed planked model depicted with deck houses with blue roofs and a complement of 6 life boats. The planked sides with black paint, the bottom with copper paint. Fully rigged bowsprit above a polychrome painted figurehead. Mounted to a cradle. SIZE: 25-1/2″ h x 37-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: De-accessioned from a New England Institution. CONDITION: Very good overall. Running rigging in need of some minor repair. 9-20538 (300-500)
