US NAVY BOXED FULL DRESS SET BY K. KUSAFUJI TAILORS AND OUTFITTERS. Circa 1900. Comprised of beaver skin bicorn hat with gold bullion trim and button. Brush epaulettes with fine gold wire bells and silver bullion anchor. Unrated. Leather sword belt with three rows of silver wire decoration and gilt brass buckle emblazoned with displayed eagle and anchor. All presented in original leather box with lid, the front with the initials “L.W.F.C./U.S.N.” Interior of lid with label marked “YOKOHAMA/JAPAN/K. KUSAFUJI”. SIZE: Box: 7-1/2″ h x 18″ l x 8-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Case in “as found” condition, otherwise dress set fair to good. 9-25706 (300-500)
