FLEMISH CARVED OAK SIDE CHAIR. 19th century. Branded on the rear stile “G C”. The arched molded crestrail headed by a leaf tip centering a caned rectangular back panel joined to the trapezoidal caned seat raised on frontal molded cabriole legs, the blocked rear legs backswept joined by an H-form turned stretcher. SIZE: 45-1/2″ h of back, 18″ h of seat. CONDITION: Restored and refinished with new hand caning. 9-20717 (300-400)
