GROUP OF THREE MAHOGANY BUTLER’S TRAYS ON STANDS. Trays are 19th Century, stands are 20th Century. The two oval examples with scalloped gallery edges. The first with scrolled brass carrying handles and string inlaid gallery edge. The second oval example with pierced grips and candle slide. The third a paneled butler’s tray with hinged gallery sides and pierced grips. Each on a custom made stand. SIZE: 1st: 21-1/2″ h x 31-1/2″ l x 21″ w. 2nd: 20-1/2″ h x 26-1/4″ l x 20-3/4″ w. 3rd (open) : 18-1/2″ h x 36″ l x 26-3/4″ w. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Very good overall. Each with acceptable degrees of wear and tear to finish. 9-21322 (400-600)
