MODEL OF 5-MASTED SHIP “LE HAVRE”. Mid 20th century. A nice commercial model with simulated planking of a French fully rigged 5-masted ship. Rendered without sails. A metal figurehead beneath the bowsprit. An interesting raised walkway runs the length of the ship between the upper decks. The white hull with black stripe and chromium red bottom. Depicted flying a French flag. Mounted on a small cradle. SIZE: 19-1/2″ h x 38-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: De-accessioned from a New England Institution. CONDITION: Very good overall with original painted surfaces. 9-20530 (300-500)
