CASED MODEL OF THE CLIPPER SHIP “FLYING CLOUD”. First half 20th century. A full rigged plank model of the 3 mast clipper rendered with black hull and white trim, the bottom painted in copper. SIZE: 24″ h x 37″ l. PROVENANCE: De-accessioned from a New England Institution. CONDITION: Very good overall with small losses to hull paint in areas where rigging is fixed to the model sides. Minor damage to rigging. Now mounted on a styrofoam cradle. 9-20533 (300-500)
