There are no external library markings.There are library Association plates to the front pastdowns and, in a few instances library jacketholders to the rear pastedown. There are also stamps and ink numbers to verso of the front free fly leaf. Title pages have the “M.C.M. Library Association” stamp and ink numerals in some instances. THE CALL OF THE WILD: 1903. Front hinge reinforced. ADVENTURE: 1911. THE SEA WOLF: 1904. The last, regrettably in good only condition, loose in the case, one signature detached. Meets all points in the Sisson Bibliography. WHITE FANG: 1906. Small tear to color frontice piece. PROVENANCE: Maine Charitable Mechanic Association (Portland, Maine). CONDITION: As noted above. 9-20461 (250-500)
