EARLY OAK DOME TOP TRUNK IN BLUE PAINT. 18th century, probably England. The rectangular trunk with hinged dome lid all iron bound with ornate strapping and with iron carrying handles, lock and original key. SIZE: 22-1/2″ h x 36-1/2″ l x 19-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Surfaces with old blue over original fumed oak finish. Iron straps and ornamentation in old red paint. Generally very good. Old shrinkage crack on seam of top. 9-26322 (200-400)
