SETH THOMAS ROSEWOOD AND MAHOGANY SHELF CLOCK. Mid 19th century, Thomaston, Connecticut. Classical form with ogee molded cornice above gold painted engaged half columns. Case with two doors, each with decorated eglomise panels. The painted tin dial with Roman numeral chapter ring with scrolling spandrels. The 8 day brass movement striking on gong. Original paper label affixed to back. Offered with pendulum bob, winder and two weights. SIZE: 32″ h x 18″ w. CONDITION: Good to very good. 9-26741 (600-800)
