MAYNARD FIRST MODEL SPORTING RIFLE. Cal .35. 20” part oct bbl. Standard markings on both sides of the frame and patchbox. The leather pin screw is a replacement. There is a sling ring attached to the trigger guard. The rear bbl sight is a replacement but the front sight and the tang sight are original. The tang sight is slightly bent. SN 1651. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall with light to moderate pitting. There is a small crack at the receiver and some minor dents and scratches but the wood is generally good.
