RARE 13″ INTERCHANGEABLE CYLINDER MUSIC BOX.

RARE 13″ INTERCHANGEABLE CYLINDER MUSIC BOX. 6 tunes on each of the seven included cylinders. Two combs with zither attachments on each (one detached). Burled walnut veneer on lid and front. Nicely turned corner molding and bead molding. Fancy heavy cast brass handles on the sides. Embossed inner plaque on the interior bears “No. 13”. Drawer base holds 3 cylinders. Accompanying case holds three additional cylinders. Includes appropriately sized, but not matching table. SIZE: 31″ l x 16″ h x 16″ d. Table 48″ w x 30″ h x 22 1/2″ d. CONDITION: Music box refinished inside and out and nicely restored. Accompanying case appears to have original finish. All teeth are excellent; box in need of damper work, tone is very good. A few bent pins on some of the cylinders–should easily be straightened. Small 3/4″ gouge in bottom front molding. 8-87154 (7000-9000)
