SHERATON TRANSITIONAL SERVER IN OLD PAINT. Mid 19th Century, probably New York. The rectangular case with three aligned short drawers flanked by rope twist pilasters continuing to Gothic carved splash-guards, centering a rectangular work surface. The case additionally fitted with a pair of aligned drawers above three long drawers. The whole in early beige/mustard paint. SIZE: 49″ h; 40-1/2″ h work surface; 43″ w x 20″ d. CONDITION: Painted surfaces have been scraped in areas, damage to proper left pilaster and to front feet. Hardware incomplete. 9-20714 (300-400)
