EARLY AMERICAN 6 BOARD BLANKET CHEST IN RED WASH. Last quarter 18th century. The rectangular top joined to the conforming chest by unusual wooden hinged flanges opening to a well fitted with a till. The case with boot jack ends. SIZE: 24-3/4″ h x 40″ l x 17-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Chest retains original painted surfaces and is otherwise original and intact. Horizontal shrinkage crack along front board. Otherwise very good. 9-20702 (300-400)
