The first two in the form of Meissen type paperweights, each depicting a recumbent dog on a stepped elongated base with floral and scrolling gilt decoration, both marked with crossed swords. The other two examples of a pug and a bulldog, unsigned. SIZE: Largest 4-1/2″ h, longest 7-2/3″ l. PROVENANCE: Property of an East Coast Institution.
