SET OF FOUR DELAWARE RIVER VALLEY PAINT DECORATED LADDERBACK CHAIRS. Early 19th century. The three arched slats joined to cylindrical stiles with egg shaped finials. The trapezoidal rush seat raised on four cylindrical legs with tapered feet joined by double box stretcher. The whole decorated with floral sprays within painted line borders. SIZE: 36″ h of back, 16-1/2″ h of seat. CONDITION: With scrubbed surfaces. Structurally very good. 9-20709 (400-600)
