EARLY AMERICAN POPLAR BLANKET CHEST IN SALMON PAINT. Early 19th century, probably Pennsylvania. The rectangular hinged two board top with applied molded edges. The rectangular dovetailed case with original wrought iron heart shaped lock on a molded plinth. SIZE: 20″ h x 50″ l x 23″ d. CONDITION: Structurally sound with original hardware and paint. Seam shrinkage crack in lid and bottom. 9-20713 (350-450)
